Join Our Team

Great Dreams become reality because of Great Teams!

Introduction

No person can plant a church alone.  It takes a team of diverse yet like-minded people united by a common vision.  We call these specific people for our ministry our “Launch Team.”  Perhaps you would like to join our launch team.  Start by asking yourself a few simple questions:

  1. Do I want to make a difference in the lives of others and do something that matters for Christ?
  2. Do I sense God telling me to help launch this church?
  3. Do I want to help better my community?
  4. Do I feel a connection with Pastors Augustus and Toni Corbett?
  5. Do I agree with the vision, mission, and values of this new church?
  6. Am I willing to relocate to Dallas, if I live in another city or state?

If your answer is yes to any of these questions, please keep reading.

What Is the Launch Team

Specifically, our launch team are the volunteers that serve alongside our lead pastor in the early stages of planting our new church.  Some will serve temporarily and others will become long-term members.  In fact, many launch team members are not with the new church after the first year.  You can serve on our launch team temporarily even if you are a member of another church after getting the approval of your pastor.

Who Can Be a Member of the Launch Team

Ideally, launch team members are authentic Christ followers.  Nevertheless, no special qualifications are needed to join our launch team except one must:

  1. Love and want to help people
  2. Agree with our church vision
  3. Be willing to serve
  4. Be able to volunteer time weekly

What Areas Will Launch Team Members Serve

Initially, launch team members will simply help with getting the church started.  For example, they may help with community outreach, social media marketing, passing out flyers, and so on.  If they continue serving after our launch service, they may serve in the following positions:

  1. Greeter
  2. Usher
  3. Singer
  4. Maintenance
